Efficient and reproducible non-compartmental analysis in R

This tutorial will introduce IQnca an open-source R package designed to easily and efficiently perform reproducible NCA. Its extensive functionality enables to perform advanced NCA, and the generation of regulatory-compliant outputs (https://iqnca.intiquan.com/). In addition, IQnca outputs have been validated against proprietary NCA software. R is a broadly used platform in pharmaceutical research. Therefore, with a small learning curve, IQnca will enable pharmacometricians to perform NCA as a complement to their compartmental analyses.
In the tutorial, we will go through a case example to introduce and illustrate the functionality of IQnca covering
- Data import,
- Graphical and statistical data exploration,
- Result export, and
- Standardized reporting.
During handson sessions throughout the workshop, the participants will implement a NCA workflow on a provided example on their own. Optionally, the participants could also bring an own example case to work on. After the workshop, the participants will be able to
- Perform NCA analysis in script based, traceable manner
- Generate outputs in term of tables, listings and figures in report ready format
- Create word documents with the analysis results
For participating in the hands-on part of the workshop, a laptop with an R installation is required. The IQnca package and instructions for installation will be made available beforehand. It is highly recommended to install IQnca prior to the workshop and the participants are encouraged to contact the presenters for support for the installation.
